ComWorx was set up due to popular demand! This may seem like a strange reason but owner John Shorter has been working in the IT business for 10 years and his clients have always commented on how he should advertise his services for others to benefit from.
John started his career by gaining a National Diploma in Computer Studies. His first employment was with a software giant, working on government projects and dealing face-to-face with government customers.
John then moved on to run an IT Department single-handedly for a large construction company. This involved looking after both the website and Intranet as well as being a help desk for users, spec-ing and ordering hardware and maintaining the company network. John has gained an extensive network of contacts for nearly every aspect of a businesses IT.
In the meantime, John has helped a number of people and businesses to achieve their presence on the world wide web. From simple brochure style web sites to on-line shops.
John has also installed secure wireless networks in Home environments and also restored home PC's to factory settings and configured new software for home users.
Anti Virus and security is also an important aspect of today's computing and John has had extensive experience of dealing with this area.
